Business owners in the Landscape Ontario community have exclusive access to a great peer mentorship and learning program

Business owners and upper management are faced with hundreds of problems, decisions and issues every single day. Running a business is tough work and you don't have to always try and figure things out on your own.

Your peers in the landscape and horticulture profession can help! Attend one of our events or post a question online via our invitation-only private Facebook group and your peers will confidentially and professionally help you to achieve your true potential.

Be the leader you aspire to become. Join LO's Peer to Peer Network today!

Simply email signup.peer2peer@landscapeontario.com and ask to be added to the online group.
Remember, the program is an LO member-exclusive benefit, open to business owners and upper-level managers.

Peer to Peer Workshop 2024

Linking Leaders: Building Resilience Under Stress
With a focus on dissolving the stigma around feelings such as overwhelm, anxiety, depression, this networking day will kick off hearing from some of LO’s amazing business leaders — who ‘hit the emotional wall’, and who were able to craft a path forward. Finding the right mental health support and stress relief for busy, ‘irreplaceable’ business leaders is hard. This one-day workshop will leverage the strength that comes from camaraderie, peer support and mentorship — and help attendees to build their own personal resilience tool kit for 2024 and beyond.

Guest speaker: Jim Paluch
Jim Paluch has been a longtime friend of Landscape Ontario and many of its member companies. For over three decades Jim devoted his career to helping companies improve their businesses and individuals grow and excel as professionals.

We have a special privilege as Jim has agreed to step out of retirement for a day and join forces with Jacki Hart to co-facilitate this employer/manager mental health awareness event.  Jim is very interested in sharing the day with you, focusing on dissolving the stigma around feelings such as stress, anxiety and depression and will introduce a strategy that helps you build resilience to these emotions that everyone faces sooner or later.

With the release of his most recent book, The Depressed Motivational Speaker, in 2022 and the audible version in 2023 Jim is uniquely qualified and inspired to once again, share his energy and expertise.

Participants in this event will receive a free copy of his book.
